In Judaism, the obligation to give of our time and our resources is fundamental to the sustenance of the Jewish people. We honor our beloved relatives who have passed on by donating to causes in their memory. We give to celebrate a Jewish milestone, and we give to support the education of our youth and maintain our sacred spaces.  We recognize and honor our friends and their accomplishments by giving Tzedakah. We give generously to the Rabbi's discretionary fund to support the neediest in our community and to support innovative projects in the community.  We also support the Roanoke Jewish Federation and other local, national and internationon-profit organizations to strengthen the broader Roanoke Jewish community and the world. It is only with your generosity that we can sustain our over 100 year history of Jewish practice in Roanoke.
